Application Purpose

My Contacts is a specialized desktop tool designed to give users full control over their Google Contacts. The application fetches contacts from your account solely to create an offline backup, allowing you to access your data locally without an active internet connection.

📂 Local Storage & Hardcopy

We provide the functionality to export your contacts into Word and Excel files. This is intended for creating high-quality printable copies (hardcopy), ensuring you have your critical contacts in physical form for emergency situations.

🔒 Total Privacy & Security

Your contacts remain strictly within the application and on your local device. The local database is securely protected by a User Master Password. There is no further communication between the app and the web or third-party servers, except for the initial sync with Google.

🛡️ Transparency and Data Integrity

The application acts as a "local station". Once the sync is complete, the connection is terminated. No data processing occurs on external systems, and no information is ever sold, shared, or transmitted to any third party.

👤 User Control & Rights

The user maintains absolute control at all times:

Data Deletion: You can immediately delete the local database and create a new one within the app.
Full Uninstallation: You can remove the entire application and all stored data from your device.
Revoke Access: You can revoke the app's permission to access Google Contacts at any time via your Google Account Security settings, preventing any future data fetching.
